1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
1.1 Participants agree with the Terms and Conditions outlined below when applying for the Event (REPL Cup), organised by Rudrabhishek Trust for Sports and Education.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to all the applicants and are valid for the entire duration of the Event, which includes the Selection Trials, Selection and the Tournament.
2.1 All the matches will be played as per existing ICC rules and regulations applicable to T20 cricket.
2.2 The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Event is physically strenuous and is aware of the nature of the Event and associated medical and physical risks involved.
2.3 The Participant agrees that he is physically capable of competing in the Event and agrees to be solely responsible for his/her actions. The Event Organiser, its officers, employees, agents, affiliates, associated companies, sponsors or medical advisers are not responsible for any injury or illness that the Participant may suffer as a result of his participation in the Event (unless caused due to the negligence of the Event Organiser). The Participant accepts that should any medical or physical condition arise prior to the Event which is likely to affect his ability to compete, the Participant will withdraw in accordance with these Conditions.
2.4 The Participant agrees to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of the relevant sporting governing bodies that oversee the Event. The Event Organiser is also entitled to impose Event rules upon the Participant from time to time which will form part of these Conditions.
2.5 The Event Organiser may introduce cut off times as they see fit as part of the Event rules, being limits on the time taken to complete sections of the Event (as initiated by the Event Organiser at its discretion) to ensure the safe and proper running of the Event.
2.6 The Event Organiser reserves the right at any time to remove Participants from the Event, or prevent Participants participating in the Event, if in the Event Organiser's discretion, it considers such action necessary for safety reasons or the proper enjoyment of the Event by other Participants or for any other reasonable reason.
2.7 The minimum age of entry for the Event is stipulated on the Event details contained in the Entry Form.
2.8 Players will have to be in their white cricketing attire at the time of Selection Trials.
2.9 Video/photographic analysis may be used during the trials.
2.10 Parents, friends or any other unauthorised person is not allowed to enter into the ground at the time of Selection Trials and Tournament.
2.11 All the players shall take proper precautions and play with leg guards, gloves, helmets on and take other requisite safety measures expected of and advice to them while playing, however, if any untoward incident happens during the selection trials or tournament, the management including the staff of organisers shall not be responsible for the same in any manner. It shall be the endeavor of the management to provide immediate medical aid in case of any eventuality.
2.12 Players will have to maintain discipline during the trials and if found otherwise would be expelled from the Event. Any kind of discrimination or misconduct shall not be tolerated.
2.13 Narcotics/ illegal/ banned/ hazardous items are strictly prohibited.
2.14 All decisions and rulings by the Event Organiser, its employees and its agents are considered final. Accordingly, the Participant will comply with all Event rules and all instructions and guidelines given by stewards, marshals, and safety personnel. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Event Organiser will organise and run the Event and will have sole authority and be the final arbiter on all decisions relating to the safety, running and organisation of the Event, the rules of the Event, the timings/finish times and the placing.
2.15 Transfer of Entry: Participants are not permitted to transfer entry to another person.
2.16 Refusal of Entry: Organizers reserve the right to refuse a participant or spectator admission to an event if there is a risk of health and safety to the person, other staff/volunteers or members of the public.
3.1 Event is for participants who are citizen of India and born after 31st August 1997.
3.2 The date of birth of each applicant must be certified by the school or college nomination letter as by the parents/guardian in the consent letter.
3.3 The player must not have any illness or health condition that would expose either the participant or any other participants or the organiser of the event, to any health or safety risk.
3.4 He must provide a medical certificate at the time of team selection from MBBS doctor mentioning his health condition.
4. Withdrawal, Cancellations or Alterations
4.1 Organiser reserves the right to cancel or change an event at short notice. This could include changes of date, time, format, rules or routes.
4.2 His/her appearance in the Event being filmed, recorded, incorporated and exploited in whole or in part in any television programme, film, video or broadcast of whatever nature by all means and in all media and formats now or invented after the date of these Conditions; and
4.3 The use and reproduction of the Participant's name, likeness, appearance and photographs, films and recordings by all means and in all media for the purpose of advertising, publicity and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of the Event (and future events) and/or the promotion of the Event (and future events) and the commercial rights relating to the Event (and future events) provided that such use does not imply direct endorsement by the Participant of any official sponsor or supplier of the Event.
5. Publicity: The Participant irrevocably consents to:
5.1 His/her appearance in the Event being filmed, recorded, incorporated and exploited in whole or in part in any television programme, film, video or broadcast of whatever nature by all means and in all media and formats now or invented after the date of these Conditions; and
5.2 The use and reproduction of the Participant's name, likeness, appearance and photographs, films and recordings by all means and in all media for the purpose of advertising, publicity and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of the Event (and future events) and/or the promotion of the Event (and future events) and the commercial rights relating to the Event (and future events) provided that such use does not imply direct endorsement by the Participant of any official sponsor or supplier of the Event.
Health and Emergency Contacts
By entering an event, participants are aware of the risks involved and the degree of fitness required to participate. Participants also agree to receive emergency medical treatment from medical staff and/or qualified first aiders unless the participant directly informs the event organiser prior to the event. All participants are requested to write their emergency contact details on the Form provided.
Terms and Conditions Amendments
Organiser reserves the right to amend terms, conditions and policies and will keep participants informed of any changes.
I/ We undertake to abide by the rules and regulations, guidelines and other terms and conditions T&C* set by REPL CUP Organizers time to time. I am submitting my registration form to undergo trial procedures for selection in REPL CUP 2016. I/We will hold myself/ourselves responsible for any injury/mishap/accident during the course of Practice/ Play/ Matches/ Trails/ Camps/journey in the field or out of the field during the course of REPL Cup and its selection and trial. Further the player and his /her parents hereby undertake that rights to select or reject any participant at any point of time are reserved with the Organizing/Selection Committee of REPL Cup. Any kind of protest from parents, participants, coaches etc. will not be entertained. In case of any dispute regarding civil or criminal proceedings, then the same will be the subject matter of local jurisdiction of Lucknow District Court and authorities. The parents or player also undertakes that they or he shall not file any civil or criminal proceedings before any court or authority of his local residential jurisdiction.
